EXTERIO first emerged in 1992 in the Montreal suburb of Île‑Bizard. Their debut album, Vous êtes ici!!, was released in 2003, and who hasn’t seen the iconic Whippet music video or sung along to the unforgettable line: “Ça pogne dins dents des whippets fondants quand tu mords dedans ça fait ‘skouik skouik skouik’”? Over the years, fueled by this catchy earworm, later more serious songs, and a razor‑sharp live show, EXTERIO built a fan base with unwavering loyalty. In 2008, the band delivered its swan song in the form of L’album Monstre: 33 songs spread across a retail CD, a digital album, and a box set sold exclusively at shows. EXTERIO continues to prove that it still firmly belongs on the Quebec music scene.
