Les Louanges is the project of Vincent Roberge, a singer-songwriter with raw talent and undeniable musical audacity. Inspired by Frank Ocean, Robert Glasper and Richard Desjardins, he crafts a modern blend of R&B, jazz and soul wrapped in alternative pop, carried by an unmistakable groove and surreal yet sensitive poetry. Hailing from Lévis, he made a strong impression with La nuit est une panthère (2018), praised by critics and embraced both in Québec and France, from the Transmusicales de Rennes to Parisian stages. His momentum grew with Expansion Pack (2019), paving the way for Crash (2022), a bold, inventive album marking a pop shift. Both vertiginous and revealing, Crash earned him a spot on the Polaris Prize long list, multiple ADISQ nominations, and a win alongside long-time collaborator Félix Petit, cementing Les Louanges as one of the most vital voices on today’s music scene.
